WE MADE IT!!!!!

It took us two days but we made it!! We left Tokyo at around 4:00 and arrived in Guangzhou at 8:00. I think our gift for the long delay and plane ride the day before was that on our Guangzhou flight we each had 3 seats for OURSELVSE. It was such a empty flight we could all pick our own rows - wow what a treat! We really were treated well by NW because of the snowstorm in MN - a nights stay in Tokyo, 3 meals, airport $$, more flyer miles and GREAT seats on the next flight that was available. Ok, we are making lemonade out of lemons but its all good now and we are here. By the time we checked in and got our rooms, it was midnight and Coty is already crashed. Our guide Kelly picked us up and told us she spoke with the director about 1 ½ weeks ago and she said the girls are doing good. Of course we wanted to know so much more about them but it will have to wait for a day. Well got to go and get to bed. Tomorrow will be a catch-up day and then it will be the long awaited day of meeting our daughters!!

WE ARE HERE..... kinda :-)

We left GR at around 10:00 fighting tears for all. I forgot how hard it is to say "goodbye" to everyone :-( We then had a nice 1 1/2hr flight to MN where we were to make our long flight to MN. We were told that there was a snow storm coming and we were trying to make it out by then. Well, Loooong story short we hit a snow storm and the airport closed for 4 1/2 hours...................... as we sat on the plane. THEN after taking 3 airplane "tugs" hooked together they pulled us to the runway, 27 plow trucks clearing the run way, 1/2 hour deicing we started on our looonnnnng flight (11 hrs) to Japan :-) Because we missed our conecting flight they put us in a hotel in Toyko which after travleing all day felt very nice to get off the plane. We had to go through customs and immigration because we left for the hotel and now today we will have to go back through to make our 5 hours flight to Guangzhou. BUT we are almost there and we sure had a nice nights rest and are on China/Japan time already so that is good!!
Stacy is still sleeping (I'm sure) so we are going to get ready and go wake her up!! WELCOME to the world of PRINS TIME!!

family: loved talking with you girls last night!! Cam, hope your teeth/mouth feel better today... day 4 is always the worst for wisdom teeth. Sounds like everything is going good for you Dan, wished I could have talked with you.

Fri Feb 27 - arrive in Guangzhou at 10:30am (many, many, many hours later :-(
Sat Feb 28 - get caught up and on China time
Sun March 1 - get ready for meeting the girls the next day

Monday March 2 - 2:30pm FINALLY GET THE GIRLS!!

Tuesday March 3 - Finalize the adoption paperwork
Wed March 4 - Shopping
Thurs March 5 - Tour Zhong Shan Memorial Hall
Fri March 6 - Tour Six Banyan Trees
Sat March 7 - Tour Yun Tai Garden
Sun March 8 - Tour Chen Family Temple
Mon March 9 -Get Chinese Passports
Tues March 10 - Get Visa Pics and Medical Appointments
Wed March 11 - American Consulate Appointment by guide
Thurs March 12 - American Consulate Interview and Visa
Friday March 13 - Fly to Hong Kong
Sat. March 14 - Leave for home at 8:30am and arrive in GR at 4:19!!

We hope we can skip the tours and visit the orphanage instead to let the girls say their final goodbyes.... we shall see.........

Today its 4 days till we leave!! Bags are packed (mostly) and I think we are ready :-) Praying for the girls as they start their last week living in the only home they have ever known. Praying for trusting hearts as they get ready to leave all and everyone that they have known and going to two strangers - their new moms & families who love them more than they could ever imagine. Thanking God today for the gift of these two precious girls making their way to their forever families soon.
